We are planting out this year’s garden as fast as we can. It is so nice to have the garden fence all done so we can keep the animals out…especially the chickens. We are up to about 15 raised beds, with quite a few additional small and large containers. Within the fenced in garden we probably have about 1/3 of the area utilized for growing. It is going to be interesting to see how productive we can make this space. We have 8 fruit tree guilds that we are going to plant out, which will be a new experience for us. We also would like to dedicate space to perennials, such as Sunchokes, Asparagus and more berries.
