12×12 Off-Grid Cabin Started

I started a small cabin in the woods. It will be tiny at 12′ by 12′ with a 12′ by 6′ covered porch. I should get the roof mostly done next week. Then I’ll switch back to building the main house.

It will have two 4′ by 4′ picture windows that I still need to finish framing out.
Making a 2x8x16 ridge board for this cabin and some more 16 foot lumber from the chainsaw mill.

Inspiration for the cabin came from this wonderful little book.
