I drink this smoothie far more than any others. It is easy to make and doesn’t have too much fruit.
Make your own as follows:
2 cups of water
2 handfuls of spinach (or other greens)
2 average sized tomatoes
1 ripe banana
1/2 inch of ginger root
1/2 avocado (optional)
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend to desired consistency. Ice cubes, frozen banana or frozen tomatoes give it a nice consistency if you like really cold smoothies…but it isn’t necessary.
I change The Daily Meal Smoothie frequently by adding turmeric root, different greens, apple cider vinegar or different types of tomatoes (I like Dr. Carolyn tomatoes the best in this). |
