Sarah’s Making More Homemade Bar Soap

We were running low on bar soap so Sarah made another batch. You can read more about our recipe, here. After the bars have setup for a day she cuts and stacks the bars for further drying. Then, after a few more weeks she takes a vegetable peeler and shaves the edges off the bars as you can see in this photo. The shavings are saved and will be used to make a 5 gallon tub of liquid laundry soap that I will post about soon.

This batch yielded 3 dozen bars, which should last us a full year.
