A few years ago I was working on a small cabin in the woods. I was on a ladder putting up fascia boards. The ground was uneven so I used blocks of wood underneath the ladder legs to get the ladder somewhat vertical. All was well until the ladder slipped off the blocks which caused me to fall and break a couple bones in my left wrist. Sarah’s comfrey poultice really helped bring down the swelling, which you can read here. Only after the accident did I search for a solution to the problem of working on a ladder over uneven ground. I had no idea that there were these products called ladder levelers for just this problem. I’ve installed these on a couple of our ladders and have been really pleased with them.
